CEGO – Circular Economy Go project enhances the circular transition of SMEs and bigger companies across different industries within Uusimaa region. This is a joint project by Laurea University of Applied Sciences and SYKLI Environmental College. The project strengthens companies’ business and market expertise related to the circular economy through, for example, circular economy and social responsibility accelerators.

New CEGO – Circular Economy Go peer network is launched in the project, supporting co-creation and innovation. The core group of the CEGO network consists of 20 companies which are both SMEs and bigger companies with their subcontractor companies. These companies are for example IT equipment recycling companies, textile, maintenance and rental housing companies. Other companies are warmly welcomed onboard the network from the Uusimaa region.

CEGO project actively cooperates with relevant actors and organisations, for example, the existing networks of Uusimaa Circular Valley, Laurea Circular Economy Living Lab and Laurea key partnership network.

Laurea University of Applied Sciences is the main implementer of the project, with the SYKLI Environmental College as a co-implementer. The project is funded by the Uusimaa Regional Council and the European Union and runs from 8/2024 to 8/2026.
